Tras conocerse el atentado, del que fue v\u00edctima este 13 de agosto, el representante a la C\u00e1mara por el partido Cambio Radical, Julio C\u00e9sar Triana, el alcalde mayor de Bogot\u00e1, Carlos Fernando Gal\u00e1n, expres\u00f3 su \u201ctotal solidaridad\u201d con Triana y lanz\u00f3 una advertencia contundente: \u201cColombia no puede esperar otra tragedia. Nuestra democracia est\u00e1 en riesgo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El hecho ocurri\u00f3 alrededor de las 6:00 p.m., en la v\u00eda hacia Paicol, cuando el congresista regresaba a Neiva tras cumplir su agenda en La Plata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El alcalde Gal\u00e1n subray\u00f3 que el representante lleva mucho tiempo solicitando mayor protecci\u00f3n y llam\u00f3 directamente al Gobierno Nacional a actuar con rapidez para reforzar la seguridad de los l\u00edderes pol\u00edticos de oposici\u00f3n en todo el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProteger la vida de quienes piensan diferente no es solo un deber legal, es un pilar de nuestra democracia\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Gal\u00e1n, insistiendo en que prevenir estos ataques es fundamental para preservar las garant\u00edas democr\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Las autoridades adelantan investigaciones para esclarecer los hechos y determinar si el atentado est\u00e1 relacionado con las amenazas previas que ha denunciado el congresista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
